Missile attack on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia kills six, death toll may rise

Six people have died after a Russian missile hit a clinic in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. Four more people are still trapped under the broken building. Rescue workers are trying to save them.

The attack happened on Tuesday. Officials said 22 people were also hurt. Rescuers worked all night and saved two women from under the rubble. Pictures show workers using machines to clear the broken parts of the building.

The city of Zaporizhzhia is often hit by airstrikes. Last Friday, another attack killed 10 people and hurt more than 20. Both sides in the war say they do not aim at people but at important buildings for the war.

Ukraine has asked for better air defense systems to stop these attacks. Officials said they need 10 to 12 special systems to protect the skies.

Since the war began in February 2022, Ukraine has been asking other countries for help to keep people safe and stop damage to homes and cities.
