Minister Stresses Collective Action on Climate Security at Munich Conference

Adel Al-Jubeir, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy, recently took part in a dialogue session on nature and security. This session was organized through a joint effort between the World Bank and the World Economic Forum and took place on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

During the discussion, Al-Jubeir shared the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing work to tackle environmental challenges. He spoke about the country's efforts to fight land degradation and reduce the impact of climate change. Al-Jubeir explained that Saudi Arabia is addressing these issues with a broad, long-term plan. The Kingdom is working locally, regionally, and globally to protect nature and support climate security.
