Adel Al-Jubeir, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy, recently took part in a dialogue session on nature and security. This session was organized through a joint effort between the World Bank and the World Economic Forum and took place on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

During the discussion, Al-Jubeir shared the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing work to tackle environmental challenges. He spoke about the country's efforts to fight land degradation and reduce the impact of climate change. These efforts are part of a larger strategy that includes both national and international initiatives.
Al-Jubeir explained that Saudi Arabia is addressing these issues with a broad, long-term plan. The Kingdom is working locally, regionally, and globally to protect nature and support climate security. He stressed that solving environmental problems requires everyone to work together because these challenges affect many parts of life, including global security and stability.
The Minister underlined the need for faster, united action to deal with these interconnected challenges. He pointed out that climate change is not just an environmental issue but also a concern for the safety and well-being of people around the world. By working as a global community, countries can make better progress in protecting the environment and ensuring a safer, more stable future for everyone.
