Mike Tyson, now 58 years old, made history as the youngest heavyweight boxing champion ever, winning the title when he was only 20 years and 4 months old in 1986. He retired from boxing in 2005 after losing a fight to Kevin McBride. Tyson said that after that loss, he didn’t feel he had anything left to give to the sport. He only fought one more time in 2020, in an exhibition match with Roy Jones Jr., but it wasn’t a real competition and was held without fans because of the pandemic.

Now, almost 20 years after his retirement, Tyson is come back to the ring. This time, he will fight Jake Paul, a 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer. The match will happen on Friday at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, in Texas. Tyson is much older than Jake Paul, and experts are saying that the fight is a bad idea, calling it a “competitive fight” and saying it may not be good for boxing.

So why is Tyson returning to boxing? It’s simple: money. Tyson is getting $20 million just for this match, while Jake Paul is getting $40 million. The fight will also be shown live on Netflix, which has 280 million subscribers worldwide. This will be Netflix's biggest live sports event so far. They expect around 70,000 fans to watch it in person at the stadium.

Even though many people are excited about the fight, some are worried about Tyson’s health. The fight was supposed to happen in July, but it was postponed after Tyson had a medical problem during a flight. Tyson had to get treatment after he vomited blood because of a bleeding ulcer. Some people in the boxing world think Tyson shouldn’t be fighting at his age. They say it’s dangerous and not a good idea. Promoters like Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren have said that Tyson is too old to fight.

Tyson, however, isn’t worried. He says that people who criticize him are just jealous and that he feels fine. He said he learned during his training that he’s tougher than he thought. Tyson admitted that when he first agreed to the fight, he wasn’t sure if it was a good idea, but now that the training is done, he’s ready and excited.

This fight is more than just a regular boxing match. It has caught the attention of people all over the world. Some are excited to see Tyson back in the ring, while others are concerned about his health. Either way, this fight is going to be a big event.
