Mahieka Sharma shuts down Hardik Pandya engagement rumours

Mahieka Sharma has finally addressed the growing speculation around her relationship with Hardik Pandya after fans suspected that the couple had secretly gotten engaged. The rumours surfaced when Hardik shared a set of affectionate photos featuring Mahieka, where a striking ring on her finger immediately caught attention and sparked online chatter.

Responding to the buzz, Mahieka posted a lighthearted Instagram Story showing a black kitten with pink hair and wrote, “Me watching the internet decide I’m engaged when I just wear nice jewellery every day.” She then added another humorous post—a meme of a man driving a toy car—with the caption, “Wyd if I pull up in this to fight the pregnancy rumours,” subtly shutting down both engagement and pregnancy speculation.

The rumours gained traction earlier this week after Hardik uploaded multiple photos and videos highlighting what he called his “big 3” — cricket, his son Agastya, and Mahieka. The post included glimpses of the couple performing a pooja, sharing a kiss, working out together, and taking a mirror selfie. The visible ring in one of the pictures triggered immediate assumptions that the two had gotten engaged.

Hardik confirmed his relationship with Mahieka in October, shortly after their dating rumours circulated. His Instagram Stories from that period included cosy moments with Mahieka, including one from a swimming pool where he called her his “11:11 wish.”

Prior to Mahieka, Hardik was linked to UK singer Jasmin Walia, though they reportedly ended their brief connection and unfollowed each other on social media.

Hardik was previously married to actor Natasha Stankovic. The couple tied the knot in 2020, welcomed their son Agastya the same year, and announced their separation in 2024. They continue to co-parent their child amicably.
