Kalyani Priyadarshan-starrer Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, which made a strong impression at the box office on August 28, 2025, is now set to hit OTT platforms. Fans can catch the film on JioHotstar starting October 31, just in time for Halloween.
The film follows Chandra, a mysterious woman summoned from Sweden to Karnataka by Moothon (The Elder), the leader of a secret organization. Living a secluded life in Bengaluru, she works night shifts at a café. Across her apartment lives Sunny, a medical college dropout, who becomes infatuated with her despite her distant demeanor.
The narrative takes a dark turn as Chandra gets entangled in an organ trafficking gang. This revelation unveils her true identity as Kalliyankattu Neeli, a mythical being from folklore. The film charts how Neeli, her companions, and other mythical beings confront threats to their lives, forming the central storyline.
