The creative team behind Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, featuring the beloved comedian Kapil Sharma, has confirmed the film's re-release in theaters slated for January 2026. This move follows positive audience reactions, despite the film facing hurdles in its original run.
Directed by Anukalp Goswami, the film showcases performances by various actors, including Ayesha Khan, Tridha Choudhury, Warina Hussain, and Parul Gulati. Initially launched in cinemas on December 12, the film struggled to find enough screens owing to significant competition from other blockbuster releases.
The storyline revolves around Mohan, portrayed by Kapil Sharma, who aspires to wed his girlfriend Sania. However, societal pressure and religious constraints lead him into an unconventional predicament where he marries three women—Meera, Ruhi, and Jenny—each from differing backgrounds. Humor plays a crucial role in dissecting societal conventions, complex relationships, and the chaos of multiple marriages.
Audience feedback remained largely positive, with particular acclaim for Kapil Sharma's impeccable comic timing and the film's engaging plot. Given this favorable response, producer Ratan Jain has opted to grant the film another opportunity at the box office, aiming to broaden its audience reach during the re-release.
This sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon marked Kapil Sharma's entry into Bollywood. The original was directed by esteemed duo Abbas–Mustan and featured talents like Sai Lokur, Manjari Fadnis, Elli Avram, and Simran Kaur Mundi alongside Sharma. The initial film enjoyed success, becoming a prominent comedy hit.
With the upcoming re-release, the creators are optimistic about Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 garnering the audience it deserves, capitalizing on the momentum from its initial positive reviews.
