“They messed up,” Rogan said. He also said Ryan Reynolds now wants to leave the lawsuit, but he is still part of it. “Ryan is trying to get out, but they told him, ‘You are a big part of this.’”
The problem started when Blake Lively said Justin Baldoni treated her badly. But Baldoni said she was not telling the truth. He said Lively and Reynolds wanted to take control of the movie It Ends With Us.
Baldoni is not staying quiet. He has shared text messages, voice recordings, and other proof to show he did nothing wrong. He even made a website to explain his side of the story. He said Lively and Reynolds were trying to damage his name.
On the podcast, Rogan and his guest, Brendan Schaub, said Baldoni should fight back in court. “He is a nice guy, but now he is saying, ‘I will not stay quiet anymore,’” Rogan said.
Baldoni has now taken the case to court. He is suing Lively, Reynolds, and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, for $400 million. He says they lied about him, blackmailed him, and hurt his good name.
Rogan also talked about a text message Baldoni showed as proof. In the message, Lively invited Baldoni into her trailer while she was pumping milk. This goes against what Lively said—that he entered without her permission.
Baldoni also shared video clips and a voice note he sent to Lively. He believes this will prove he never made her feel uncomfortable while working on the movie.
Lively’s lawyers want to cancel Baldoni’s lawsuit. They say it goes against California laws that protect people who speak up about bad behavior.
But Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, says this is unfair. He said rich and famous people should not use the law to get their way. He said the law should also protect people who are wrongly accused.
The court case is planned for March 2026. Both sides will present their proof and tell their stories.
