Janhvi Kapoor's ₹1.6 Lakh Organza Saree Stuns at NMACC Event with Shikhar Pahariya

Janhvi Kapoor turned heads at a recent event hosted at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, where she attended a musical show dedicated to Lord Krishna. The actress made a stylish appearance alongside her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya. For the occasion, Kapoor chose a striking traditional ensemble featuring a sindoori red organza saree paired with a contrasting green net blouse.

The luxurious saree and blouse set, designed by the traditional wear label Torani, is priced at ₹1,62,000. The saree, known as the Saroja Ramani Saree, costs ₹1,15,500, while the green backless blouse, named the Mayuri Ramani Blouse, is priced at ₹46,500.

Details of the Ensemble:

• Saree: The red organza saree is adorned with intricate dori embroidery, antique dabka work, moti and sequin embellishments, and a balda lace border. Kapoor draped the saree in a traditional style, with pleats at the front and the pallu elegantly cascading from the shoulder to the floor.

• Blouse: The green net blouse draws inspiration from the traditional Indian angia, a form of bodice from 19th century India. The modern twist includes features like antique dabka work, detailed zari embroidery, hand-embroidered pearls, a deep neckline, full-length sleeves, and a backless design with dori ties. The lush jeni silk fabric blends traditional elements with contemporary design.

Kapoor accessorized her look with a selection of gold and polki jewelry, including a choker necklace, rings, a nath (nose ring), and earrings. For her makeup, she opted for pink eye shadow, winged eyeliner, mascara-adorned lashes, a dainty bindi, pink lips, feathered brows, and rouged cheeks, enhancing her sophisticated appearance.
