On Tuesday, Israeli forces engaged in fierce battles with Hamas-led fighters in multiple areas across Gaza. According to Palestinian health officials, the clashes were accompanied by Israeli bombardments in the southern and central parts of the enclave, resulting in at least 13 fatalities.

In the southern border city of Rafah, which has seen ongoing Israeli operations since May, an air strike on a house claimed the lives of five Palestinians. Nearby in Khan Younis, a man, his wife, and their two children were also killed in an air strike.
