Sheikh Ali Al Mualla's garden in Sharjah has garnered accolades as the Most Beautiful Home Garden in the city twice, a distinction awarded by the Sharjah Municipality. This oasis, created by the Emirati royal himself, surpasses mere floral displays with its extraordinary features.
The garden boasts a fully operational zipline, adventure zones, serene ponds, cascading waterfalls, and lush greenery throughout. Adding to its allure are recreational elements like a climbing net, a sprawling giant swing, a slide, and even a tunnel, making it a haven of both tranquility and adventure.
Reflecting on his creation, Sheikh Ali Al Mualla, an artist from the royal family of Umm Al Quwain, describes the garden as his greatest masterpiece. Despite assumptions of substantial financial investment, he reveals that every component of the garden is crafted from recycled or reclaimed materials. Discarded trees and leftover construction materials have been repurposed and transformed into intricate sculptures and functional structures, all crafted meticulously by his own hands.

The garden is not just a showcase of aesthetic beauty but also a testament to sustainability. Al Mualla's passion for artistry and craftsmanship is evident in every detail, from the recycled tree trunk seats scattered throughout the garden to a monumental 30-foot-long table crafted from a single tree trunk, reputedly one of the longest of its kind in the UAE.
Nestled within this verdant sanctuary is a raised cabin, ingeniously constructed with one side supported by a massive boulder and the other by a substantial tree trunk, offering a panoramic view and seating for up to 20 guests.
For Al Mualla, the garden is more than just a personal retreat—it's a symbol of his dedication to environmental stewardship and creative ingenuity. Each reclaimed material finds new life under his skilled hands, transforming what others discard into elements of beauty and functionality.
In his words, "My garden is a multicultural village crafted from reclaimed wood, embodying the concept of sustainability." Through his vision and craftsmanship, Sheikh Ali Al Mualla has created not just a garden, but a gateway to a harmonious blend of art, nature, and sustainability, inspiring admiration and awe in all who visit.
