Indian Man Detained in California for Threats Against Canadian

Authorities in the U.S. have confirmed the arrest of an individual involved in an extortion case linked to British Columbia. Jasmeet Singh, a 30-year-old Indian national, faces charges for having allegedly threatened a resident in Langley, B.C., leading to an extensive international investigation.

Tracking Singh’s location, investigators from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) pinpointed him to Fresno, California.
