HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), recently hosted Joseph Anis, President and CEO of GE Vernova, for a strategic meeting focused on advancing sustainable energy solutions. The discussion was aimed at exploring future collaborations and enhancing innovations in energy technologies.

A significant portion of the discussion focused on the successful collaboration between DEWA and the private sector through Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects. Al Tayer highlighted key projects, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, which is set to achieve a production capacity exceeding 5,000 megawatts by 2030.
