Hamdan bin Mohammed Appoints New CEO for Central Accounts Sector at Dubai Finance

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, has appointed Ahmad Ali Ahmad Meftah Al Marzouqi as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Central Accounts Sector at the Department of Finance. This decision was made under Executive Council Resolution No. (89) of 2024, issued by Sheikh Hamdan in his capacity as Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.

The resolution, which took effect on October 1, 2024, marks a significant leadership change in the Dubai Finance Department. The appointment of Al Marzouqi aims to strengthen the central accounts sector and further enhance the efficiency and transparency of Dubai's financial operations.

The official announcement of this resolution will be published in the Official Gazette, making the appointment official. This move reflects the UAE’s ongoing efforts to streamline governmental financial management and ensure the continued growth and development of the emirate's financial sector.
