Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has been Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister since October 23, 2019, appointed by King Salman ². Prior to this role, he served as the Saudi ambassador to Germany, from March 27, 2019, to October 2019 ². Prince Faisal has also held senior positions in Saudi and international companies, primarily in the aerospace and weapons sector [2).

In recent times, Prince Faisal has been involved in various diplomatic efforts, including talks between Saudi Arabia and Iran, facilitated by Iraq ². He has also reiterated Saudi Arabia's stance on normalization with Israel, emphasizing that it would not be possible without resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict ².
