Finance Minister wins Best Arab Minister at Arab Excellence Awards

Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Finance Minister of Bahrain, won the Best Arab Minister Award at the Arab Government Excellence Awards in Cairo, Egypt. The ceremony took place at the Arab League headquarters. This event was supported by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai.

Many important people attended the ceremony, including Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, the UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the Arab League. Many other ministers and officials from the Arab world also attended.

Shaikh Salman felt very proud to receive the award. He said he would like to dedicate it to Team Bahrain. He thanked King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa for their leadership. He promised to keep working on Bahrain's development.

Shaikh Salman also praised the Arab Government Excellence Awards for encouraging excellence in government work and recognizing projects that help improve people's lives. He believes that such awards inspire governments to work harder for the benefit of their people.

Bahrain also won two more awards at the ceremony. The Lamea program, which helps young people, won the Best Arab Government Project for Youth award. The Alternative Sentencing and Open Prisons program won the Best Arab Government Social Development Project award.

Shaikh Salman congratulated General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister of Bahrain, for the success of the Alternative Sentencing program. He also congratulated Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Bahrain’s Minister of Youth Affairs, for the success of the Lamea program.

Shaikh Salman also thanked Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his strong support in the youth and sports sectors, which helped make these programs successful.

Shaikh Salman thanked Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his efforts to improve government work in the Arab world. He also praised the UAE government and the Arab League for organizing this important event.

Finally, Shaikh Salman thanked the Arab Administrative Development Organization for recognizing Bahrain's work. He said that this award will encourage Bahrain to keep striving for improvement and to work towards a better future.

The Arab Government Excellence Awards aim to help governments improve, share successful ideas, and inspire new ways to make life better for everyone in the Arab world.
