Etimad Program Graduation Celebrated by Ras Al Khaimah Government Entities

Ras Al Khaimah, UAE – The Ras Al Khaimah Department of Human Resources (DHR) and the Investment and Development Office (IDO) have proudly celebrated the graduation of participants from the ‘Etimad’ Program, a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the UAE’s competitiveness on a global stage. The program, conducted in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Academy, focuses on preparing, qualifying, empowering, and upskilling Emirati professionals.

A total of 24 participants across various 'Etimad' program groups were acknowledged for their achievement in obtaining either the Foundation Diploma or the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business. Notably, the Advanced Diploma holders are now qualified to embark on the final phase of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) journey, positioning them to become certified ACCA members and licensed auditors recognized in 170 countries worldwide.

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Abdullatif Khalifa, Director General of the DHR, expressed pride in the graduates, stating, “We are proud to celebrate the successful graduates from the ‘Etimad’ Program for empowering Emirati talent in partnership with the IDO. This program reflects the commitment of Ras Al Khaimah’s Government to upskilling UAE talent and equipping them with the knowledge and skills that enable them to compete on an international level.”

Furthermore, H.E. Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, Managing Director and Board Member of the IDO, highlighted the program's strategic importance, stating, “The ‘Etimad’ Program is a confident step towards achieving Ras Al Khaimah Government’s ambitious vision for a bright, sustainable future. It significantly contributes to developing the skills of Emiratis, enhancing their competitiveness in the global market, and strengthening and improving the accounting and financial systems in the Emirate.”

The initiative aims not only to elevate the competitiveness of UAE talent in the job market but also to enhance the efficiency of government employees by adopting international standards across various sectors. It empowers young professionals to strengthen their academic knowledge and acquire prestigious certifications from specialized international associations and organizations.

The successful completion of the 'Etimad' Program marks a significant milestone in Ras Al Khaimah’s ongoing efforts to bolster its workforce with globally competitive professionals, thereby supporting the UAE’s comprehensive development journey.
