DWTC Hospitality & EKFC Partner for Mega Events

Dubai, UAE – DWTC Hospitality, the award-winning catering division of Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), and Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly provide large-scale, high-profile event catering and hospitality services across the UAE and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

The partnership combines DWTC’s expertise in event management and hospitality with EKFC’s global leadership in high-volume food production, positioning both entities as the region’s premier partners for mega events, exhibitions, and corporate functions.

The partnership will commence immediately, with notable collaborations at the upcoming Dubai Airshow, serving prestigious clients including Dubai Civil Aviation’s Royal Pavilion and the UAE Ministry of Defence. It will also cover other major events such as the Dubai International Boat Show, Dubai World Cup, WHX, and GITEX Global.

Innovative service formats, including food trucks and semi-permanent outlets, will be introduced across DWTC venues – the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) and Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC). Pilot programmes will also offer curated retail-ready food options, reflecting a focus on quality, cultural relevance, and culinary innovation.

The ongoing AED 10 billion expansion of the Dubai Exhibition Centre will provide further opportunities for collaboration, equipping the venue to host larger, high-profile events and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for events and hospitality.
