Italian Companies Flourish in Dubai’s DMCC Hub

Dubai, September 2025 – DMCC, Dubai’s leading business hub, has welcomed a big increase in Italian companies over the past year. Nearly 10% more Italian firms have joined, bringing the total to more than 530 companies operating in Dubai.

This announcement came after DMCC wrapped up its “Made For Trade Live” roadshows in Naples and Palermo, aimed at creating stronger business links between Southern Italy and Dubai. Over 260 Italian business leaders attended, learning about Dubai’s global trade opportunities and how DMCC helps companies set up and grow internationally.

Trade between the UAE and Italy is growing fast. In 2024, non-oil trade reached USD 14 billion, rising more than 20% from the previous year. DMCC sees strong potential to expand this further, especially in sectors like agri-food, coffee, precious metals, and energy.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, DMCC’s Chairman and CEO, said: “With over 500 Italian businesses now operating from DMCC, we are proud to support their growth. Dubai and Southern Italy share many strengths – great ports, strong logistics, and world-famous products like coffee, food, and precious metals. Our goal is to help Italian companies set up, scale, and connect with global markets.”

The roadshows were organized in partnership with several Italian organizations, including the Naples Chamber of Commerce, Forbes Italia, Enterprise Europe Network, and others.

DMCC has nearly 26,000 member companies and contributes 7% of Dubai’s GDP. It is a gateway for international businesses looking to expand into some of the fastest-growing markets worldwide.
