The Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) and Dubai Media Academy, which is part of Dubai Media Incorporated, have joined hands to support and empower women, especially helping them take on stronger leadership roles in the media field. They signed an important agreement called a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This signing took place on the last day of the Arab Media Summit 2025. The event was held under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and also the Ruler of Dubai.
Naeema Ahli, the CEO of Dubai Women Establishment, said that this agreement follows the instructions of Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. She is the President of Dubai Women Establishment and the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. Naeema explained that this partnership shows their strong promise to work together and help increase women’s involvement in different important areas.

Naeema Ahli also praised the long-lasting partnership they have with Dubai Media Incorporated, calling it one of the top media organizations in the UAE. She thanked Dubai Media Academy for supporting DWE’s goal to raise the number of women working in media. She mentioned that the agreement includes plans to create new projects, training sessions, and workshops. These activities will help women in middle and senior management roles in Dubai’s public sector improve their media skills. This will give them the tools and knowledge to succeed in today’s fast-changing media world.
Muna Bu Samra, the Director of Dubai Media Academy, praised the work of Dubai Women Establishment in improving women’s skills in many fields. She said that signing this agreement during the Arab Media Summit is a very important step. She called it a “major milestone” that shows both groups are dedicated to empowering women and increasing their leadership roles in media and other important areas.
Muna Bu Samra added that this partnership with Dubai Women Establishment is the beginning of a long-term team effort. Together, they want to start projects and programs that will make a real difference. Their goal is to help the UAE reach its vision of supporting women and helping them become leaders in all parts of society.
