The UAE has issued an alert forecasting "medium to heavy rains" over the next two days, prompting authorities to implement precautionary measures across multiple sectors. In alignment with safety protocols, distance learning has been mandated in several emirates, while government entities have transitioned to remote work arrangements. Private sector employers have been advised to facilitate remote work options for their employees to minimize exposure to weather-related hazards.
Furthermore, Dubai Airport and airlines operating within the UAE have issued advisories to passengers, emphasizing the importance of staying informed and exercising caution during this period of unstable weather conditions.
Despite the disruptions caused by the weather, authorities have reassured residents that safety remains their paramount concern. By proactively closing public amenities and implementing remote work and learning arrangements, the UAE aims to ensure the well-being of its citizens and residents during this challenging weather event.
