Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), Dubai’s dedicated hub for the aviation industry, has officially opened a new state-of-the-art facility for Satys, a well-known French company that specializes in aircraft painting, sealing, and interior manufacturing. The new facility is located at Dubai South.
A special inauguration ceremony was held to mark the occasion. The event was attended by HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, along with Tahnoon Saif, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, and Christophe Cador, CEO of Satys Group. Several other senior officials were also present.
This new facility will focus on providing top-quality finishing and painting services for business jets and commercial airplanes, including popular models like the Airbus A321 and Boeing 737. The facility will feature a high-tech hangar that is expected to be fully operational by the second quarter of 2025.

Speaking about the new facility, Tahnoon Saif said, “The launch of the Satys facility brings great value to the services offered at MBRAH. It also highlights our commitment to attracting top global companies to Dubai South. Our goal is to position Dubai as a world leader in aviation, following the vision of our leadership. We will continue to support businesses in establishing their operations here and benefiting from our well-developed ecosystem.”
Christophe Cador, CEO of Satys Group, expressed his excitement about the expansion. He said, “Opening our new hangar at Dubai South is a major step forward in our global growth. This facility will allow us to provide faster, high-quality services for both VIP and commercial aircraft. Dubai’s strategic location plays a key role in our plans for expansion in the Middle East and Asia. We are proud to bring innovative aircraft painting solutions to this region.”
Satys was founded in 1986 in Blagnac, France, under the name STTS. Today, the company operates in 12 countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. With 50 locations worldwide, Satys is known for its expertise in aircraft painting, sealing, and interior manufacturing for both the aviation and rail industries. The company has a strong global presence, employing over 2,500 people and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.

It offers excellent connectivity and operates as a free zone, attracting airlines, private jet companies, and aircraft maintenance providers.
