Dubai, Czech Republic Boost Trade & Digital Economy Ties

Dubai Chambers recently held a meeting with a delegation from the Czech Republic, led by Petr Michal, President of the Prague Chamber of Commerce, to explore ways to strengthen economic relations between the two business communities.

H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, attended the meeting. Both sides emphasized expanding cooperation in investment, trade, and the digital economy to build stronger partnerships between companies in Dubai and the Czech Republic.

During discussions, opportunities were identified to enhance bilateral trade, explore joint investment projects, and advance collaboration in digital initiatives. The Prague Chamber of Commerce highlighted Czech companies’ strong interest in investing and expanding in Dubai across various sectors.

H.E. Lootah said, “We are committed to advancing economic relations between Dubai and the Czech Republic. Our focus is on creating high-value partnerships that strengthen business ties and provide new opportunities for both Dubai and Czech companies.”

In 2025, 46 new Czech companies joined Dubai Chambers, bringing the total number of Czech businesses registered with the chamber to 145, reflecting an annual growth of 28.3%. Non-oil trade between Dubai and the Czech Republic reached approximately AED 5.3 billion in 2024, up 14% from 2023.
