Dubai Police and Radio Holland Sign MoU to Advance 'Haddad' Project

Dubai Police has formalized a partnership with Radio Holland-Middle East through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing their Smart Boat Project, known as "Haddad." The agreement, signed by Major General Dr. Saleh Abdulla Murad, Director of the General Department of Human Resources for Dubai Police, and Mr. Patrick Campagnoli, Business Director for Southern Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Radio Holland-Middle East, underscores a mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise in scientific and technological fields.

The signing ceremony was attended by several officials from both organizations, reflecting a collaborative effort to elevate the capabilities of the Smart Boat Project. The initiative is designed to bolster Dubai Police's maritime security operations by expanding coverage of water areas, improving the efficiency of security operations, and reducing both operational and maintenance costs associated with security boats. Additionally, the project aims to enhance response times and refine databases through comprehensive field surveys.

Major General Dr. Saleh Abdullah Murad emphasized Dubai Police's dedication to enhancing its operational systems through strategic partnerships. "Our collaboration with various entities highlights our commitment to effective communication and the exchange of expertise and best practices," Murad stated. "These efforts are crucial for improving performance, achieving strategic objectives, and ensuring the safety and security of our community."

Brigadier Dr. Hassan Suhail Al Suwaidi, Director of the Ports Police Station, also spoke on the importance of the MoU. He noted that the Ports Police Station, in conjunction with other departments within Dubai Police, is focused on advancing security and safety in its jurisdiction. The MoU, according to Al Suwaidi, represents a significant step towards leveraging the latest technologies and expertise to support maritime security operations and foster partnerships that achieve shared goals.

Mr. Patrick Campagnoli from Radio Holland Middle East praised Dubai Police for its commitment to adopting cutting-edge technological solutions. "Our partnership with Dubai Police enables us to contribute to one of the most ambitious security projects globally and support the realization of Dubai Police's future vision," Campagnoli said.

The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration in practical and technological areas, including knowledge exchange, innovation in joint projects and research, system operations, and staff development. Through this agreement, both Dubai Police and Radio Holland-Middle East aim to drive advancements that will enhance maritime security and operational efficiency.
