Dubai hosted a landmark gathering as His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, welcomed over 40 founders and CEOs of India’s leading unicorn companies. The meeting, also attended by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, focused on fostering cross-border collaborations and exploring opportunities for international entrepreneurship.

Sheikh Hamdan emphasized Dubai’s commitment to building partnerships across sectors and borders, describing them as essential to the emirate’s vision of a prosperous, future-oriented economy. Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai continues to position itself as a global hub for unicorns and start-ups seeking growth, offering a business-friendly environment that attracts high-quality investments.

The meeting formed part of the World Governments Summit – Griffin Dialogue, aimed at enabling knowledge exchange between global entrepreneurs and governments, showcasing successful entrepreneurial models, and opening avenues for long-term cooperation.

Officials present included His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Vice Chairman of the World Governments Summit, His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, and Mohamed Alsharhan, Managing Director of the World Governments Summit.
