Dubai Holding and Nord Anglia Education, one of the world’s leading international schools organisations, have announced a new partnership to develop and operate premium K-12 schools across Dubai.
Under this partnership, Dubai Holding Asset Management will develop purpose-built school campuses, while Nord Anglia Education will operate and manage the schools. The goal is to strengthen education options within Dubai Holding’s master-planned communities and support Dubai’s growth as a global hub for knowledge, innovation, and talent.
First School Planned in Dubai Production City
The first Nord Anglia Education school under this partnership will be located in Dubai Production City. It will offer a British curriculum and is expected to open in the coming few years, subject to final approval by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
The school will serve families living in nearby communities, including:
Jumeirah Golf Estates
Emirates Living
Tilal Al Ghaf
Dubai Holding and Nord Anglia also confirmed that more K-12 schools are planned in other major Dubai Holding communities in the future.
Supporting Dubai’s Education and Economic Vision
Dubai Holding said the partnership supports the city’s long-term plans, including:
Dubai Economic Agenda (D33)
Dubai Education Strategy 2033 (E33)
The initiative aims to increase access to world-class education for Dubai’s growing population of more than 4 million people.
What the Leaders Said
Omar Karim, CEO of Dubai Holding Investments, said the partnership is an important step in expanding Dubai Holding’s investments into high-value sectors. He added that education is a natural area to invest in as Dubai continues to grow its knowledge economy and attract international talent.
Malek Al Malek, CEO of Dubai Holding Asset Management, said the partnership reflects Dubai’s ambition to build a future-ready urban environment where people and businesses can thrive. He said developing new school campuses will help meet the growing needs of communities and provide students with a learning experience designed for the future.
Andrew Fitzmaurice, CEO of Nord Anglia Education, said the partnership will create new opportunities for families in Dubai who want high-quality international education. He added that Nord Anglia’s personalised approach helps students build confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills needed for future success.
Global Learning and International Experiences
Students at the new schools will have access to Nord Anglia’s Global Campus online platform, connecting them with more than 100,000 students worldwide.
They will also be able to take part in exclusive global learning experiences, including:
Expeditions to Tanzania
Visits to Les Martinets in Switzerland
Regional sports and performing arts events
Partnerships with Global Institutions
Teaching and learning will be supported through Nord Anglia’s collaborations with major international organisations, including:
UNICEF
The Juilliard School
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
IMG Academy
These partnerships bring programmes focused on social impact, performing arts, STEAM education, sports, wellbeing, and educational research. Students will also benefit from Nord Anglia’s research work in areas such as metacognition and education technology.
Nord Anglia’s Strong Presence in Dubai
Nord Anglia already operates two well-known schools in Dubai:
Nord Anglia International School Dubai (NAS Dubai)
Swiss International Scientific School Dubai (SISD)
Both schools are listed in the Spears Index of the world’s top private schools. Their students have achieved strong results in IB, A-Level, and GCSE programmes, and many have progressed to top 100 universities globally.
