Dubai Future Foundation Launches "FEEL" Program with 42 Global Leaders

Dubai Future Academy, an initiative of the Dubai Future Foundation, has officially launched the "FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Program." This groundbreaking initiative brings together 42 visionary leaders from 15 different countries to participate in a series of 33 interactive workshops, hands-on experiences, and panel discussions over four weeks at the Academy's headquarters.

His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, as well as the Deputy Managing Director of the Dubai Future Foundation, welcomed the participants. In his address, he highlighted that the rapid advancements across various sectors present unique opportunities for growth and innovation. He underscored the importance of leveraging knowledge and foresight tools, utilizing emerging and advanced technologies, and developing robust methodologies to anticipate and adapt to future demands.

Al Olama encouraged the participants to view the "FEEL" program as an invaluable opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, foresight capabilities, and strategic planning acumen. He urged them to apply the insights and expertise they will acquire throughout the program to formulate a comprehensive vision for the future of their respective sectors, ultimately benefiting their communities and organizations.

The response to the "FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Program" was overwhelming, with over 1,500 applications submitted from nearly 100 countries. A specialized committee meticulously evaluated these applications based on specific criteria, ultimately selecting a diverse group of participants, including C-Level executives, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, policymakers, government officials, and specialists dedicated to designing the future.

The program features an impressive lineup of 22 distinguished speakers and experts in foresight, future thinking, disruptive innovations, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Among them are notable figures like Professor Fadel Adib, the recent recipient of the ‘Great Arab Minds Award’; Professor Paul Saffo; Dr. Michael Shermer; Dr. Steven Novella; Dr. Danielle Belardo; and Dr. Hassan Fahad Albalawi, to name a few. These experts will deliver high-quality talks and provide experiential insights into future technologies.

Abdulaziz Al Jaziri, the Deputy CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, emphasized that this pioneering program offers participants a well-rounded educational experience. This includes field visits to major organizations to explore emerging trends and innovations, as well as tours of the UAE's cutting-edge innovation hubs and labs, where participants will witness the latest technological advancements.

Throughout the month, the global talent participating in the "FEEL" program will collaborate to develop impactful projects and ideas aimed at shaping the future of societies. They will also have the opportunity to exchange expertise and explore potential collaboration across various sectors.

As part of the curriculum, the Dubai Future Academy has organized visits to key innovation hubs and laboratories in Dubai and across the UAE. Participants will be able to observe the latest technological advancements being implemented by entities such as the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Police, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, Dubai Future Labs, the Museum of the Future, and the facilities of the Digital School’s recycling partner.

The "FEEL: A Disruptive Futures Program" represents a significant step towards fostering a collaborative environment for leaders and innovators to design and influence the future. Through this initiative, the Dubai Future Foundation aims to cultivate a network of forward-thinking leaders equipped to navigate and shape the complexities of tomorrow's world.
