Dubai has said that January 1, 2025, will be a holiday for all government workers. The Human Resources Department explained that public sector employees will not have to work on Wednesday, January 1, but they will return to work on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
Some places like hospitals, police stations, and other important services will stay open. This is because these workers help people and need to keep working even during holidays.
Earlier, another government office also said that January 1, 2025, will be a holiday for both government and private sector workers. This means everyone, no matter where they work, can enjoy the New Year holiday.
