The event attracted over 100 participants from a diverse array of private sector industries. Attendees gained in-depth insights into critical areas essential for business excellence, including digital transformation, sustainability initiatives, international market expansion strategies, and effective approaches to managing family businesses.

The forum featured a keynote address from an international expert who discussed key trends and innovations shaping the business landscape. Throughout the event, speakers shared their expertise on business excellence and global best practices, providing attendees with actionable strategies to enhance their operations.

An interactive session also highlighted best practices from companies recognized with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award. This session showcased successful business models developed by these award-winning companies, illustrating how they achieved institutional excellence across the award’s four categories.

Established in 2005 and launched under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award honors the most distinguished companies within the emirate. The award recognizes organizations committed to promoting excellence in the business community, enhancing their strategies, operations, and overall performance.

In 2023, the award underwent a comprehensive restructuring to better reflect the evolving needs of the business community, aligning with Dubai's vision and the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33). It now invites participation from all local businesses in Dubai as well as international companies with regional headquarters in the emirate, spanning all sectors.

To foster a culture of continuous improvement, Dubai Chambers has adopted a framework for business excellence, encouraging companies to enhance their performance throughout the evaluation process. This new model is based on extensive research and incorporates the latest methodologies, focusing on tangible success measures, including leadership, strategy, workforce management, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, digital transformation, and financial performance.

Overall, the ‘Share Best Practices Forum’ represents a critical step in promoting a culture of business excellence within Dubai, contributing to the emirate's reputation as a hub for innovation and economic growth.
