Dubai Chambers has shared the full plan for the Dubai Business Forum – Germany, which will take place in Hamburg on May 20. This event is an important chance to boost business and investment links between Dubai and Germany.

The forum will focus on the theme "Innovate, Invest, Integrate: Forging a New Path for Dubai-German Economic Synergy." It is being organized with the help of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce as a key partner, along with the Hamburg Representative Office in Dubai and the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK) as supporting partners. The goal of the event is to attract German companies to Dubai and help German investors take advantage of growth opportunities in the region and around the world.

H.E. Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, will lead a group of 44 business leaders from Dubai at the forum. The aim is to improve cooperation between Dubai and Germany. The event will showcase the advantages of doing business in Dubai and encourage investment in different sectors that match the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which focuses on growth and innovation.

The forum will feature talks and discussions with experts on different topics. The key focus will be on discovering promising sectors in Dubai’s economy where German businesses can invest. Speakers will also talk about how Dubai is a great place for business growth and how the city can help multinational companies, venture capital firms, high-net-worth investors, and new businesses.

The forum will address important topics such as which sectors have the best potential for trade and investment between Dubai and Germany. It will also explore the future of joint investments in areas like advanced technologies, trade, and global business growth. One main point of the forum is to discuss how Dubai supports European venture capital firms and growing companies, and how it can help German companies expand in the region.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers; Abdulla Al Hashmi, Chief Operating Officer at DP World; Mohamed Sharaf, Chief Operating Officer at the Dubai Economic Development Corporation; Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni, CEO for AI at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism; and Mohammad Alblooshi, CEO of the DIFC Innovation Hub.

Other important speakers are Dr. Malte Heyne, CEO of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce; Anthony O’Sullivan, Managing Partner at EY UAE; Dr. Hendrik Brandis, Co-founder of Earlybird Venture Capital; Edward Bell, Chief Economist at Emirates NBD; Max Heinemann, Co-CEO of Gebr. Heinemann; Dr. Nicole Renvert, Managing Director at the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Stefan Kirschke, CFO of Körber AG; and Stephan Heller, Founding Partner of AlphaQ Venture Capital.

The Dubai Business Forum – Germany is the third international event in the Dubai Business Forum series. The first two editions were held in Beijing (Dubai Business Forum – China) and London (Dubai Business Forum – United Kingdom). The forum helps strengthen economic partnerships, encourages trade, and creates new investment opportunities between Dubai and countries around the world.
