Currently, beOnd operates two routes connecting Al Maktoum International Airport (Dubai World Central, DWC) with Male (MLE) in the Maldives and Zurich (ZRH) in Switzerland. The airline, based at Velana International Airport in the Maldives, is one of the few in the world that offers an all-business-class service. This model is designed to cater to the rising demand for premium travel experiences at increasingly affordable prices. Passengers can also enjoy optional extras like chauffeur transfers and airport lounge access, which further enhance their travel comfort.
In its ambitious growth plan, beOnd aims to serve 60 global destinations over the next five years, focusing on expanding its reach across Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. To facilitate this growth, dnata has been appointed as the general sales agent (GSA) for beOnd in the UAE. The dnata team is now equipped to provide a comprehensive range of travel services for beOnd customers travelling to and from Dubai, having established local infrastructure to enhance sales, marketing, and distribution support tailored to current demand and future route expansions.
Simon Woodford, Vice President of Global Air Services at dnata Travel Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We continue to see increased demand for business and first-class travel from the UAE. Partnering with beOnd allows us to enhance connectivity from Dubai to popular leisure travel destinations, like the Maldives and Zurich. Luxurious getaways to the Maldives remain in demand year-round, while Zurich offers a seasonal escape into nature or a gateway to world-class skiing.”
Dhaz Hunjan, Chief Commercial Officer of beOnd, also shared his excitement, saying, “We look forward to establishing the unique, private-jet style experience that beOnd offers travellers from Dubai, working with dnata. Their long track record of local excellence and understanding of our vision will help us deliver a luxury experience unlike any other between the UAE and our destinations, including the Maldives. We have been pleased with the reception to our new routes, established in response to market feedback, and our customers can now benefit from the additional services dnata provides.”
For travellers from the UAE, beOnd provides a distinctive all-business-class cabin featuring fully lie-flat seats, gourmet dining options, and luxurious amenities. The airline currently operates four flights per week from Dubai (DWC) to the Maldives (MLE) and two flights weekly between Dubai (DWC) and Zurich (ZRH), with return fares starting from AED 7,429 to Male and AED 8,100 to Zurich.
