Cambridge University Press & Assessment has announced the results of the March 2025 exam series in India. This exam session is becoming more and more popular because it matches well with the Indian school calendar. This makes it easier for students to move on to colleges in India or even abroad after school.

This year, more than 17,000 students from 420 schools across India took the exams. Many students appeared for the Cambridge IGCSE exams, which are equal to Class 10 in India. The number of students taking these exams went up by 12%. Also, the Cambridge International AS & A Levels, which are like Class 11 and 12, saw a 10% increase in the number of students.

Subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry were still the most popular. This shows that a lot of Indian students are still very interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. One subject that became even more popular this year was Biology, with a 16% increase in students compared to last year.

He also said that more students joining these exams proves that the Cambridge curriculum is helpful in preparing students for the modern world.

Kavita Kerawalla, Vice-Chairperson of the Vibgyor Group of Schools, said that these marks are not just numbers. They also show that students have learned important skills like thinking critically, understanding the world better, and being able to adapt to different situations.
