Calvin Klein Inc., a well-known fashion brand under PVH Corp., is opening its very first global flagship store in Tokyo on August 29, 2025. This new store is located at 4-31-10, Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, right in the heart of Harajuku, one of Tokyo’s most fashionable districts. The store will cover three floors and 14,160 square feet, making it a large and important addition to the brand’s global presence.
This opening represents a significant step in Calvin Klein’s global expansion, following the Paris flagship in 2024 and with plans for a New York store in SoHo later this year. The Tokyo store is not only a shopping destination but also a cultural hub where fashion, design, and community meet.

A Store Designed for Fashion and Culture
The new Tokyo flagship is carefully designed to blend modern retail experiences with local culture. It is meant to be both a commercial space and a cultural destination. According to David Savman, Calvin Klein global brand president, “The Tokyo flagship marks a pivotal milestone in the global retail strategy for the Calvin Klein brand. Calvin Klein has always stood at the intersection of fashion and culture, creating products and consumer experiences that resonate and inspire.”
He added that the store is designed to provide an elevated shopping experience, allowing visitors to see Calvin Klein’s way of living while engaging with Tokyo’s fashion culture. The store reflects the brand’s focus on minimalism, style, and innovation while also respecting Japanese traditions.
Store Layout and Product Range
The first and second floors of the store are dedicated to women’s and men’s collections, offering a wide variety of apparel, underwear, accessories, and lifestyle products. Denim plays a central role, reflecting Calvin Klein’s global leadership in denim and the importance of denim in Japanese fashion culture.
Special zones in the store showcase Calvin Klein’s iconic underwear, allowing customers to explore new designs, seasonal products, and the latest innovations. These dedicated areas highlight the brand’s attention to detail and commitment to offering a unique shopping experience.
The third floor features a flexible space that can host events, exhibitions, and gallery displays. It also has a VIP area where the Fall 2025 Calvin Klein Collection, designed by Veronica Leoni, the brand’s new creative director, will be displayed. This makes the flagship not only a shopping destination but also a community space where fashion lovers can experience art, culture, and design.
Architectural Design and Local Influence
The Tokyo flagship combines Calvin Klein’s modern minimalist style with Japanese craftsmanship. The store has a bright, sculptural exterior with a large digital screen above the entrance for campaigns and advertisements. Inside, the store uses creams, warm neutrals, and natural tones to create a clean backdrop for products.
Local materials like stone, plaster, glass, paper, and cedar are used to reflect traditional Japanese design. Special elements include a limestone staircase, locally sourced Oya Ishi stone, and handmade paper finishes. Artworks by Japanese artists Wataru Hatano and Rikuo Takata add a unique touch, while furnishings such as Noguchi sofas and vintage Japanese decor enhance the store’s warmth and cultural feel.
This thoughtful design makes the Tokyo flagship a perfect blend of heritage and modernity, providing visitors with a stylish yet culturally grounded shopping experience.
Limited-Edition Capsule Collection
To celebrate the opening, Calvin Klein will offer a limited-edition capsule collection exclusive to the Tokyo store. The capsule focuses on denim and reimagines classic Calvin Klein jeans, trucker jackets, and logo T-shirts.
This special collection features a custom color palette and CK Tokyo branding. Only 100 individually numbered pieces per style will be available, making it a collectible item for both long-time fans and new customers. This exclusive launch emphasizes the importance of the Tokyo flagship as a major milestone in the brand’s global expansion.
PVH Corp.’s Financial Performance
In PVH Corp.’s recent quarter ending May 4, 2025, total revenues increased 2 percent to $2 billion compared to the previous year. Calvin Klein’s sales remained steady at $886.1 million for the quarter.
Sales performance varied across regions:
Europe, Middle East, and Africa: Increased 5 percent to $927.7 million.
Americas: Rose 7 percent to $608.4 million, driven by wholesale after the company regained Calvin Klein licenses.
Asia-Pacific: Dropped 13 percent to $351.7 million.
Despite the drop in Asia-Pacific sales, the opening of the Tokyo flagship signals Calvin Klein’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the region and engaging more directly with local consumers.
The Tokyo flagship store represents a major milestone for Calvin Klein as it continues to grow globally. With its three floors of apparel, denim, accessories, and exclusive limited editions, it is designed to attract fashion enthusiasts from around the world.
The store is more than just a retail space—it is a cultural destination, blending modern minimalism with Japanese traditions, and offering a platform for community engagement, art, and exclusive fashion experiences.
The Tokyo opening highlights Calvin Klein’s strategy to connect fashion, culture, and lifestyle in a way that resonates with both local customers and global audiences. Fans of the brand and fashion lovers in Tokyo can look forward to exploring a store that truly represents Calvin Klein’s iconic style and vision.
With exclusive collections, innovative design, and cultural touches, the Tokyo flagship is set to become a landmark destination in one of the world’s most influential fashion cities.
