The 31st edition of CABSAT, the launch of SATExpo Middle East, and the third edition of Integrate Middle East are taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from May 13 to 15, 2025. These events are focused on content creation, post-production, broadcast, satellite management, space technology, and professional audiovisual industries.
The event was officially opened by His Highness Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, the Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated. He was joined by Abdul Rahman Obaid Abu Al Shawareb, the Executive Vice President of Protocol and Security at DWTC. His Highness toured the exhibition halls and visited booths from several leading companies in the industry, such as Ross Video, Live Media, and Panasonic at CABSAT and Integrate Middle East. He also visited companies like ArabSat, Nilesat, and Eutelsat at SATExpo Middle East.

CABSAT 2025 is expected to welcome over 18,000 visitors, SATExpo Middle East will have more than 8,000 guests, and Integrate Middle East is set to draw around 10,000 visitors. There will be over 700 brands from 120 countries showcasing their products and services. Additionally, 150 well-known speakers and industry experts will be leading discussions about the latest trends in the media, satellite, and Pro AV industries at the Content Congress. A special area called the Co-Production Salon will also be available for networking and discussing opportunities in Arabic content creation.
Alex Nicholl, Vice President of DWTC, spoke about how proud they are of the growth of CABSAT, Integrate Middle East, and the new SATExpo Middle East. He said these events show how collaboration between different industries and countries is helping shape the future of the media and satellite industries. These events also provide an important chance for people to connect, share knowledge, and support each other.
One exciting feature of CABSAT 2025 is that visitors will have the opportunity to tour the world-class production facilities at Dubai Studio City, a strategic partner for CABSAT 2025. Dubai Studio City is the largest media, entertainment, and broadcasting hub in the region, offering facilities like the largest soundstage and water tank in the MENA region, along with other resources such as boutique studios, backlots, production offices, and recording studios.
Majed Al Suwaidi, Senior Vice President of Dubai Studio City, shared that innovation is changing the future of the global media industry, and Dubai Studio City plays a key role in this transformation. He mentioned that at CABSAT 2025, they will focus on supporting global talent and promoting groundbreaking media innovation, which aligns with Dubai's Economic Agenda and Creative Economy Strategy.
At Integrate Middle East 2025, more than 700 brands from over 75 countries will showcase the latest innovations in Pro AV (Professional Audio-Visual) technology. This event is a major platform for tech leaders and buyers from different industries to meet and explore new ideas.
SATExpo Middle East 2025 will also feature key players in the satellite industry, such as Intelsat (USA), Arabsat (KSA), Nilesat (Egypt), Eutelsat (France), Eshailsat (Qatar), Gulfsat (Kuwait), and Neo Space Group (KSA). The event will also include the SATExpo Summit, where important speakers like Prof. Dr. Klaus Schilling will deliver a keynote on Earth observation in the space industry. Another speaker, Prof. Sherif Sedky, CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, will be taking part in a fireside chat to discuss how space agencies can help small businesses and promote inclusivity in the space sector.
These events will bring together people from all over the world to share ideas, learn from each other, and make exciting new connections in the fields of media, satellite technology, and professional audiovisual industries.
