ADNOC and AIQ Complete Trial Phase of Agentic AI Solution ENERGYai

ADNOC and AIQ have finished testing a new tool called ENERGYai, which is the first of its kind for the energy industry. ENERGYai uses a very large language model combined with 50 years of ADNOC's experience and massive amounts of their own data to improve the company's operations.

In the 90-day test, ENERGYai showed that it could speed up and improve the process of finding and analyzing energy sources. It helped make seismic surveys faster and more accurate and also provided useful suggestions to improve the production of oil and gas in ADNOC's wells. ENERGYai made these suggestions easy to understand, so engineers could use them right away.

The results from the test were very good, showing a 70% improvement in seismic data analysis and better monitoring of reservoirs and detecting problems in the wells.

Musabbeh Al Kaabi, ADNOC’s CEO of Upstream, said, "This test showed very promising results. It shows that ENERGYai can help us make more energy and do it in a sustainable way. This is just the beginning, and we will keep using this tool to make ADNOC stronger and more efficient."

The test also helped improve the quality of the data, finding errors, making sure everything is in the right format, and improving the data overall.

Magzhan Kenesbai, Acting Managing Director of AIQ, said, “This success came because ADNOC’s experts worked closely with our team of over 100 specialists. We also built a strong and safe system for the AI. This lays the groundwork for even more progress in the future."

After this successful test, ADNOC and AIQ plan to have the first working version of ENERGYai ready by mid-2025. This version will include five AI agents working on underground operations and will be tested in a number of ADNOC's oil and gas fields. They also plan to use it in many more wells soon.
