According to a statement released by the authorities in Cairo, the suspects targeted under-construction buildings, pilfering building materials and possessions from security guards at gunpoint.
The law enforcement officials disclosed that the culprits had stolen two vehicles for their criminal activities. However, swift action by the authorities led to the recovery of the stolen vehicles. The suspects have since been referred to the public prosecution for further legal proceedings.
