These new parks have been created with the needs of the community in mind. They include picnic areas, shaded seating, playgrounds for children, fitness areas, jogging paths, and sports courts for games like basketball, volleyball, badminton, and paddle. Some parks also have areas where people can play different sports at once. There will also be special features for People of Determination, ensuring that everyone can use and enjoy the parks.
Hamada Al Hashemi, the Director of the Urban Design Division at DMT, said: “We are proud to open these parks that encourage healthy living, fitness, and community connections. These parks are made for everyone to enjoy, no matter their age or ability.”
Opening these parks is part of DMT’s ongoing work to create fun and accessible spaces that meet the needs of all residents. These parks are designed to bring people together and offer opportunities for fitness, fun, and relaxation.
