His Excellency Saeed Al Bahri Salem Al Ameri, Director General of ADAFSA, emphasized the importance of the event, noting that it reflects the dedication of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to enhancing food security locally and globally, as well as supporting sustainable economic development. Al Ameri highlighted that ADAFSW 2024 aims to bolster Abu Dhabi's status as a global hub for innovation in agriculture and food security, attract foreign investment, and open new avenues for international trade.

Al Ameri also noted the significance of the Global Food Security Summit, which will bring together senior officials and experts to address the challenges facing the food security sector and develop innovative solutions. This summit will position Abu Dhabi as a pivotal center for decision-making and shaping the future of global food security.

His Excellency Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, outlined the comprehensive agenda of ADAFSW, which includes leading global exhibitions in the food and food security sectors. These events aim to align with national programs that ensure food abundance and an integrated food security system by showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions for sustainable food production.

Al Dhaheri reaffirmed ADNEC's commitment to supporting national efforts to advance the agriculture and food security sectors, which are essential for building a diversified and sustainable competitive economy. He emphasized that the vision of the UAE's leadership focuses on achieving food security for the future and enhancing Abu Dhabi's role as a hub for creativity and innovation in these vital sectors. Al Dhaheri also noted the record growth rates anticipated for the third edition of ADIFE compared to previous years.

Saleh Lootah, Chairman of FBMG, expressed pride in the strategic partnership with ADAFSA and ADNEC to organize the inaugural Global Food Security Summit. This two-day summit, running concurrently with ADAFSW, will gather government officials, decision-makers, experts, and specialists from around the world to discuss key challenges in the sector and develop innovative solutions to reduce hunger.

Dr. Abdul Wahab Zayed, Secretary-General of the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, highlighted the role of ADDPE in emphasizing the importance of dates in the national economies of producing countries and their integral part in the food security equation. He noted that the exhibition strengthens Abu Dhabi's position as a global hub for dates and an international platform for developing and promoting this sector. The tenth edition of ADDPE is expected to feature over 100 pavilions from 25 date-producing countries, providing support and opportunities for major date farmers, producers, and importers.

ADAFSW serves as a global platform to showcase the latest innovations in food production and foster partnerships and investment opportunities in this crucial sector.
