Record Participation in Sheikha Hind Quran Contest 2025

Dubai: The Dubai International Holy Quran Award has launched the final round of the 26th Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum Holy Quran Competition 2025, drawing remarkable participation from across the Emirates. The event, hosted at the Award’s headquarters in Dubai, will continue until October 23, showcasing an exceptional display of Quranic devotion and memorization excellence.

Recognized as one of the UAE’s most prestigious Quranic initiatives, the competition highlights Dubai’s enduring commitment to nurturing Islamic values, promoting Quran memorization, and fostering reflection upon its divine teachings. This year, enthusiasm reached record heights with over 1,660 participants registering from all seven emirates — including 868 males and 798 females. After initial screening, 1,514 contestants were confirmed eligible to compete, representing 52% male and 48% female participants. The diversity of participation stood out, featuring competitors from 55 nationalities, led by the UAE with 1,028 Emiratis, followed by entrants from Egypt, India, Pakistan, Syria, and several other countries.

The competition’s inclusive spirit unites people of all ages and backgrounds under one purpose — to perfect their memorization, recitation, and mastery of Tajweed rules. Each round tests not only accuracy but also clarity of voice and beauty of delivery, reflecting a balance between faith, discipline, and excellence.
