33rd UAE President’s Cup Expands with Record Prize Pool

Under the directives of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Higher Organizing Committee has officially revealed details of the 33rd edition of the UAE President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses, marking a significant milestone in the sport’s global growth.

The 2026 edition further strengthens the Cup’s reputation as the most prestigious Arabian horse racing series worldwide, with total prize money exceeding AED20 million. The expansion builds on the success of the previous edition, which featured 354 competing horses and attracted over 400,000 spectators across leading international racecourses. The event also recorded a strong digital presence, surpassing 500 million views globally.

International tour across 19 key racing destinations

This year’s calendar introduces a comprehensive international circuit aimed at supporting breeders and owners while promoting Purebred Arabian horses globally. The season begins in Tunisia on April 19, followed by key stops including the United States at Churchill Downs on April 30 and France on May 10.

The tour continues across Europe with races in Sweden, Italy, Morocco, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom at Newbury and Doncaster. Additional legs include Spain, Belgium, Türkiye, Russia, and Poland, reflecting the Cup’s growing global footprint.

Expansion into Arab region and grand finale

In a notable development, the series expands further into the Arab world with a new station in Syria, followed by races in Libya and Egypt. The season will conclude with a grand finale in Saudi Arabia on November 20.

His Excellency Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee, highlighted that the continued support of Sheikh Mansour has transformed the Cup into a global platform connecting the UAE with international racing communities.

Meanwhile, His Excellency Faisal Al Rahmani, Secretary-General of the series, described the 33rd edition as a “historic turning point,” emphasizing partnerships with iconic venues such as Longchamp, Churchill Downs, and Doncaster. He noted that the Cup has evolved into a strategic partner for some of the world’s most prominent racing festivals.
