UAE President Arrives in Qatar to Strengthen Ties

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Qatar on June 25, 2025. He landed at Doha’s Hamad International Airport and was warmly greeted by Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, along with senior Qatari officials .

Sheikh Mohamed was joined by a strong UAE team. This included Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan, plus top ministers and national security officials .

During their meeting, the leaders shared views on deepening UAE–Qatar cooperation in trade, security, and regional issues. They also discussed the recent Iran–Israel ceasefire and praised Sheikh Tamim’s efforts in making it happen .

The UAE President also spoke out in support of Qatar after a missile attack on its territory, stressing that he fully supports Qatar’s moves to protect itself and its people Both leaders agreed that open talks and diplomacy are the best way to solve regional conflicts and keep peace. They believe these efforts will help bring security and shared growth to the Gulf and beyond 

At the end of his visit, Sheikh Mohamed was seen off by Sheikh Tamim and other top officials. The visit highlights the growing friendship and cooperation between the two nations .
