Sheikh Mohammed Visits UAE Identity Exhibition

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the “National Identity: Legacy and Responsibility” exhibition, organised as part of the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025 in Abu Dhabi.

He was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council; H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; and H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee.

The exhibition offered an interactive experience that celebrated the UAE’s achievements, cultural heritage, and core national values. It highlighted how government entities continue to play a vital role in advancing public services, enhancing quality of life, and shaping a smart and sustainable future for the nation.

A unique feature of the exhibition invited participants to select one of the six pillars of the UAE National Identity and express their personal or institutional commitment to it through a symbolic contribution or written message. These individual pledges later came together to form a striking interactive sculpture—symbolising collective participation and the diverse aspirations of the UAE community.

Visitors also explored an in-depth presentation of the National Identity Strategy, outlining its pillars, focus areas, and key initiatives designed to strengthen belonging and shared responsibility. The exhibition’s message reflected a strong sense of unity and national purpose—emphasising how every contribution, big or small, adds to the UAE’s journey of progress and pride.
