EMSTEEL FY2025 Profit Jumps 23%, Revenue Hits AED 8.9B

EMSTEEL announced its Full Year (FY) 2025 financial results, reporting strong growth in revenue, profit, and operational performance.

The company posted total revenues of AED 8.9 billion in FY 2025, marking a 7% increase compared to the previous year.

During 2025, EMSTEEL improved its overall operations, with total steel sales volumes rising 7% year-on-year. Strong demand in the UAE market, along with higher finished steel production, helped the Group increase sales volumes of finished steel products by 16%, reaching 3.3 million tonnes.

In the cement business, EMSTEEL also recorded growth. Cement and clinker sales volumes increased 8% year-on-year to 3.5 million tonnes.

The Group’s EBITDA reached AED 1.2 billion, showing a 34% increase compared to FY 2024. The EBITDA margin improved to 13.4%, up from 10.7% in the previous year. This growth was supported by higher sales volumes, optimisation initiatives, and better use of production capacity.

EMSTEEL reported a net profit of AED 481 million for FY 2025, representing a 23% increase year-on-year. The company said the profit growth was mainly driven by strong operational performance.

Division Performance

The Emirates Steel division generated AED 8.0 billion in revenue, up 6% compared to FY 2024. It also delivered AED 1.0 billion in EBITDA, reflecting a strong 51% year-on-year increase.

The Emirates Cement division recorded AED 944 million in revenue, showing 24% growth, and generated AED 172 million in EBITDA.

Within the cement division, the Pipes & Other segment contributed AED 187 million in revenue and produced AED 42 million in EBITDA during 2025.

EMSTEEL confirmed that it completed the disposal of the Pipes & Other segment on 18 December 2025, and its financial impact has been included in the FY 2025 results.

Stronger Cash Position

As of 31 December 2025, EMSTEEL improved its net cash position to AED 1.2 billion, compared to AED 337 million at the end of 2024.

Q4 2025 Highlights

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Group recorded revenue of AED 2.5 billion, similar to Q4 2024. However, EBITDA rose sharply by 51% to AED 372 million, mainly due to stronger sales volumes and improved margins.

Chairman Hamad Al Hammadi said EMSTEEL’s strong FY 2025 performance reflects the strength of UAE market fundamentals and the Group’s focus on long-term value. He added that the company remains committed to supporting local manufacturing, supply chain strength, economic diversification, and the UAE’s net zero goals.

Group CEO Eng. Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi said FY 2025 was a key year for EMSTEEL, with strong execution, margin growth, and progress in strategic priorities. He added that the company is also moving forward in its plans to become a global leader in low-carbon steel and sustainable building materials through investments, technology, and partnerships.
