Abu Dhabi Approves AED4.62 Billion Housing Support for Over 3,000 Emirati Citizens Ahead of Eid
Following the directions of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, a new housing support package has been approved by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
The total value of this second housing package of 2025 is AED4.62 billion. It will benefit 3,052 Emirati citizens across Abu Dhabi and comes just ahead of Eid Al Adha.
Out of the full amount, AED4.4 billion will be given as housing loans to 2,862 Emiratis. Another AED212 million has been set aside to waive loan repayments for 190 citizens — including retirees with limited income and the families of deceased citizens.

This support is part of the UAE leadership’s continued efforts to improve the lives of its people. It reflects their strong focus on family wellbeing, financial stability, and helping Emiratis play an active role in the country’s progress. It also supports the goals of the UAE Year of Community, which aims to build stronger, more united communities.
With this latest announcement, the total housing support provided to Abu Dhabi citizens in 2025 now stands at AED11.38 billion.
His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, said the new package shows how much the leadership cares about helping citizens live better lives through proper housing. He thanked the President and the Crown Prince for their continued support in building a stable and happy society.
His Excellency Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, added that this second package of the year shows how far-sighted the leadership is. He said that the support will help citizens plan for a better future by giving them safe, long-term housing solutions that match their needs.
This announcement also follows another major step taken recently, where an additional subsidy of AED250,000 was approved for people who already have housing loans. That plan included reducing their monthly payments by up to 50% and offering them more services to ease their financial load.
With this ongoing support, the UAE continues to prove its dedication to building a strong, caring, and united nation for all its citizens.
