Abu Dhabi is ready to host one of the UAE’s most anticipated sporting spectacles as the 2025–2026 horse racing and equestrian season prepares to kick off under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
The season promises an exciting mix of events that celebrate the UAE’s rich equestrian heritage while drawing international participation. From endurance races at the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba to Arabian horse beauty championships and elite flat racing at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club, the programme spans across months of high-caliber competition.

Endurance and Championship Highlights
Endurance riders will compete at the Emirates International Endurance Village in several marquee events. The Union Day Cup (CEN 120 km) will open the season on 30th November 2025, followed by multiple ladies’ endurance cups and private owners’ competitions. The UAE President’s Emirates Cup (160 km) on 8th February 2026 is expected to attract top global riders and horses, reinforcing Abu Dhabi as a hub for elite endurance racing.
Arabian Horse Beauty Championships
The Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS) will lead a series of beauty championships starting with the EAHS National Arabian Horse Championship on 28–29 October 2025, culminating in the Ramadan Arabian Horse Championships in Abu Dhabi and Al Dhafra in February–March 2026. These events are designed to preserve and promote the UAE’s prized Arabian horse lineage, blending tradition with global standards.
Flat Racing and Speed Events
The Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club will host high-profile flat races, including the President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses on 6th December 2025 and the Abu Dhabi Gold Cup on 14th February 2026. These races are expected to draw elite international competitors, showcasing speed, skill, and precision.
