Fire Erupts at Dhaka Airport Cargo, Flights Temporarily Halted

A sudden blaze tore through the cargo section of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon, forcing a temporary halt to all flight operations. The fire erupted around 2:15 pm, sending plumes of thick smoke into the sky and raising immediate safety concerns.

Airport fire teams, backed by Bangladesh Air Force units and other emergency agencies, rushed to the scene. At least 28 fire units were actively engaged in containing the fire, with additional teams dispatched to reinforce the efforts.
