Training Aircraft Involved in Accident in Fujairah, Investigation Underway

The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is currently investigating a tragic training aircraft accident that occurred in Fujairah airspace. The aircraft, which was carrying a flight instructor and a trainee, lost radar contact approximately 20 minutes after takeoff, sparking immediate concern and initiating search operations.

The body of the flight instructor has been recovered along the coast of Fujairah, though efforts continue to locate the trainee pilot and the wreckage of the aircraft. The search and rescue operations are ongoing, with teams from the GCAA and relevant authorities working together to find the missing pilot.
