Tiffin Ohio Shooting Murder-Suicide Leaves Four Dead, Including Children

Tiffin, Ohio – A tragic shooting on Wednesday evening left four people dead, including two children, in a shocking incident that has deeply affected the local community. Police reported that the mother of the children survived but was visibly traumatized.

The incident occurred at a home on Huss Street around 6:24 p.m., when police were called by the mother, who was in shock and overwhelmed. Investigators said the shooting involved domestic issues and escalated into a fatal murder-suicide.

Authorities said 29-year-old Dustin Willey and 42-year-old Ryan Eagon were involved, along with two children aged 7 years and 7 months. At the time, the mother and Willey were inside the house gathering belongings following a family dispute, while the children were outside near a car.

Police investigations suggest that Eagon, who was believed to be working out of town, returned home and confronted Willey inside the house. Witnesses said Eagon chased Willey, fired multiple shots, then turned the gun on the children, fatally shooting both before firing again at Willey. Eagon then took his own life.

Emergency responders rushed Willey to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he later died. The 7-year-old child was also taken to the hospital but could not be saved. The 7-month-old infant and Eagon were pronounced dead at the scene.

No officers were injured during the incident, and no shots were fired by responding law enforcement. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation joined local authorities in processing the scene and conducting interviews.

Tiffin Police Chief David Pauly expressed sorrow over the tragedy, saying, “As a community, we are not accustomed to events of this horrific nature. Our thoughts are with the victims’ families and all emergency personnel affected by this incident.”

The community is still grappling with the devastating loss, and investigators continue to process evidence to understand the circumstances behind this tragic event.
