Son Ye-jin beams over son’s looks, praises Hyun Bin’s support

During the broadcast, Jung Jae Hyung revealed that mutual friends, including actress Gong Hyo-jin, often spoke about how beautiful Son Ye-jin’s son is. He remarked, “When I saw your childhood photos, you looked just like a child actor. If your baby resembles you, he must be truly beautiful.”

Smiling, Son Ye-jin agreed, “Honestly, the baby is really beautiful. But because people might later say his visuals are ‘not to that level,’ I’ll show you his face on my phone so you can judge objectively.” After seeing the photos, Jung Jae Hyung admitted, “I usually don’t like babies that much, but he’s really beautiful.”

The actress then proudly revealed, “And he’s a boy,” adding that her son’s beauty often draws comparisons to that of a little girl. She explained, “People usually hope their child resembles either the father or mother, but for us, we hope he inherits both of us equally.”

Reflecting on her journey into motherhood, Son Ye-jin admitted that she was not initially fond of children. “When I heard mothers say that the greatest thing they ever did was giving birth, I would just think ‘I see,’” she said. “But after becoming a mom, I realized that my child is something I would never trade for anything. That love is unconditional.”

She also described the challenges of balancing her career and home life, noting, “I work, I take care of the baby, I manage the household, and since I’m a perfectionist, I try to do everything at once, which makes me really busy.”

Turning to her husband Hyun Bin, she praised his thoughtful nature: “The best thing about my husband is that he never says things like ‘I wish you would do this for me’ or ‘I wish you wouldn’t do that.’” Jung Jae Hyung agreed, calling Hyun Bin “kind,” and added, “I can even see the love in your eyes as you talk about him.”
