Fire on Container Ship at Singapore's Port Sparks Investigation

An investigation has been initiated by Singapore authorities following a fire aboard the London-flagged container ship, Ever Lenient, at Pasir Panjang Terminal. The incident raised immediate safety alarms; however, prompt responses contained the blaze without impacting operations at the port.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has confirmed that the fire has been put out and an inquiry is underway to ascertain its origin. Collaborating with relevant agencies, officials are closely monitoring the aftermath of the incident.
