His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of the 2024–2025 batch of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Program.
This program, launched in 2017 and run by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), is part of His Highness’s Executive Office. It aims to prepare Emirati men and women to become strong, forward-thinking leaders who can help shape the future of the UAE.
During the event, His Highness said that building a new generation of bold and creative leaders is one of the country’s top priorities. He noted that empowering young Emiratis across different sectors helps the UAE grow and stay strong in a fast-changing world.

“I am proud of this new group of leaders from both the public and private sectors,” Sheikh Mohammed said. “They represent the values of responsibility, personal growth, and public service. Many have already graduated from this program, and we are still committed to preparing more leaders who are not afraid to think differently and take bold steps.”
Training the Leaders of Tomorrow
The leadership program is specially designed to help ambitious Emiratis take on key roles in government and business. It includes practical training, mentoring, and global learning experiences. Participants are guided by 60 mentors, including local and international experts, and they work closely with top universities and institutions around the world.
As part of their training, this year’s group visited the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK. There, they learned valuable lessons in leadership, discipline, and decision-making.
The graduates also worked on real-life projects in areas like healthcare, education, the economy, tourism, infrastructure, and improving quality of life. These projects gave them a chance to apply their skills and come up with creative ideas to improve their communities.
A Legacy of Leadership
The Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Program has been shaping leaders since 2017. But the work of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development started even earlier, in 2003. Over the years, the center has helped many young Emiratis become strong, confident leaders ready to take on future challenges.
The program continues to play a key role in preparing the next generation of decision-makers—leaders who are ready to bring positive change and help build a better future for the UAE.
